Red Bull driver Max Verstappen emotionally commented on his ninth place in the sprint at the Chinese Grand Prix.
The race was won by George Russell from Mercedes. The second and third places were taken by Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, respectively.
“At the start, I had no power — I think it was the same as Lawson in Australia. The rest of the race was complete rubbish, there’s no need to discuss it. No balance, no grip, the tires are completely destroyed,” Verstappen said, as reported by GPblog.
The four-time world champion also responded to whether the team plans to make changes before qualifying.
“We will try something,” the Dutchman added.
Qualifying for the main race will take place on Saturday.
