Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev lost in the fourth round of the 2026 Australian Open to American Learner Tien in three sets with a score of 4:6, 0:6, 3:6.
The match lasted 1 hour and 40 minutes. Medvedev made six aces, committed six double faults, and converted only one break point. His opponent served five aces, made one fault on serve, and successfully converted 7 out of 10 break points.
In the quarterfinals, Learner Tien will play against the world’s third-ranked player Alexander Zverev from Germany.
The main draw matches of the Australian Open are taking place from January 18 to February 1.
