Jannik Sinner Becomes First Finalist of the ATP Finals 2025 with Record Performance

The world’s second-ranked player, Italian Jannik Sinner, won against the seventh-ranked Australian Alex de Minaur in the semifinals of the ATP Finals 2025 in Turin (Italy) with a score of 7-5, 6-2.

The match lasted 1 hour and 53 minutes.

Sinner recorded seven aces, made no double faults, and converted three break points out of 13 opportunities. De Minaur hit eight aces, made two double faults, and failed to convert any of his four break point chances.

Sinner became the third player since 1970 to reach the finals of all four Grand Slam tournaments and the ATP Finals in the same season. Previously, this was achieved by Roger Federer (2006-07) and Novak Djokovic (2015, 2023). The Italian is the youngest among them.

In the final match, Jannik Sinner will face the winner of the second semifinal between Carlos Alcaraz (Spain) and Felix Auger-Aliassime (Canada).
