President Edgars Rinkēvičs will visit Brazil from November 4 to 9, where he will participate in the UN Climate Change Conference (COP30) in Belém, the president's office informed the LETA agency.
During his working trip, the president will also visit the state of São Paulo, where he will meet with the governor of the state, participate in the Responsible Investment Forum, and attend an event to develop cooperation between Latvian and Brazilian companies and entrepreneurial organizations, organized by the Latvian Investment and Development Agency and the honorary consul of Latvia in São Paulo.
The president will also visit the city of Nova Odessa, where a large Latvian diaspora resides. Here, Rinkēvičs will visit the Latvian Cultural Center, which is one of the main meeting places for the Latvian community not only in Brazil but throughout South America.
