In the first hour of the publication of results for centralized exams for basic school graduates in Latvia, technical failures and increased load on electronic services were recorded. Waiting times in the queue reached up to one hour.

In the first hour after access was opened to the results of centralized exams for basic school graduates in Latvia, there were minor technical failures and long waiting times. This was reported by the State Education Development Agency (VIAA).

According to the agency, specialists are working to resolve the issues. VIAA also urges students and parents not to rush to obtain certificates on the first day of results publication.

As noted by LETA, since 9:00 AM, when access to the results was opened, a queue formed on the portal Latvija.lv, where the waiting time initially reached one hour, but later decreased.

Exam results are available both on the specially created website eksameni.gov.lv and on the portal Latvija.lv.

VIAA clarifies that when applying to secondary schools, the results will be available to educational institutions in the state information system, so paper certificates are not required.

Electronic certificates will be stored on the portal eksameni.gov.lv for six months and are legally valid documents certified with a qualified electronic signature.

Certificates of secondary education will be available from July 3. The official statistics on the results of the exam session are planned to be presented by VIAA in early July.
