In early May, the air in Latvia will warm up significantly, according to the latest weather forecasts.
In the last days of April, it will be cool: daytime temperatures will not reach +10 degrees, and at night in many places it will drop below zero. On Monday and Tuesday, gusts of northern and northwestern winds of up to 13-19 meters per second are expected throughout Latvia. There will be brief rains, snow, and hail in some areas.
On the first day of May, it will warm up significantly. From May 2, in many regions of the country, the air temperature will rise to +20 degrees. Predictions regarding the duration of the warmth vary.
