Rain and snowfall will occur over most of the country. The Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre (LEGMC) has issued a yellow level warning for snowfall in parts of Vidzeme and Zemgale — a snow cover of 3–5 centimeters may form in some areas. In certain places, roads will be slippery.
The wind will mainly be moderate, coming from the south. The maximum air temperature will range from +1 to +5 degrees.
In Riga, the sky will be overcast, with wet snow and rain expected. With a moderate southern wind, the air temperature will rise to +3 degrees.
Weather conditions are influenced by an area of low pressure.
