Most Residents Opposed: Society Does Not Support the Declaration Threshold of 750 Euros 0 11

A survey revealed public opinion on this issue, reports the program "900 Seconds" (TV3).

The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Latvia has decided to withdraw the initiative to introduce mandatory declarations for cash deposits into bank accounts over 750 euros.

One-tenth (11%) of residents of Latvia aged 18 to 65 believe that declarations should be required for cash deposits into bank accounts over 750 euros.

At the same time, the majority (75%) of residents indicated the opposite — that such declarations should not be required for cash deposits into bank accounts over 750 euros.

14% of residents did not express a specific opinion on this issue.
