On Thursday and Friday, rains will occur in many areas of Latvia, while Saturday and Sunday are expected to be predominantly dry and sunny, forecasters say, according to LETA.
The heaviest rains are expected to occur on the night of Thursday in some areas of southwestern Kurzeme, as well as on Thursday and Friday in parts of Latgale, Selia, and Vidzeme. Nighttime temperatures will not drop below zero, with daytime highs reaching +8 to +18 degrees.
On Saturday, April 18, light cloudiness is expected, with no precipitation. With a weak northern to northeastern wind, nighttime temperatures will drop to +1 to +5 degrees, while daytime temperatures will rise to +13 to +18 degrees; however, in some coastal areas, it will not be warmer than +9 degrees.
On Sunday, more cloud cover is forecasted, with no significant precipitation. Air temperatures will decrease by 2 to 3 degrees.
Next week, nighttime temperatures in many regions of the country may drop slightly below zero, while daytime temperatures are not expected to exceed +16 degrees. The likelihood of heavy precipitation will be low, and dry weather will prevail in most parts of the country.
