Today and on Sunday, the Riga National Zoo is celebrating its 113th anniversary with traditional "Animal Days," the zoo reported to the LETA agency.
As part of the "Animal Days," visitors whose names or surnames contain the name of any living creature are especially welcomed. For such guests, entry to the zoo will be half price.
If the name of the animal (bird, fish, insect) is present in both the first and last name, then this weekend, entry to the zoo, as well as its branch "Cīruļi," will be free.
If the name of the animal is indicated in a foreign language, it is necessary to present a dictionary entry or another reliable source at the zoo's ticket office to confirm this.
