50-year-old American actress and director Angelina Jolie is preparing to leave Hollywood to start a new chapter in her life — likely outside of America.
The star has put the historic Cecil B. DeMille estate up for sale for $25 million. This was reported by Page Six, citing sources.
Angelina Jolie has lived in the Cecil B. DeMille estate since 2016. She moved there after her divorce from actor Brad Pitt.

According to People magazine on December 30, the estate in Los Angeles has started showing to potential buyers after renovations. The star herself is already ready for a life that "will not be centered in Los Angeles," claims a source.
"There are many projects she is passionate about, and she feels good," an insider said, adding that the actress is "eagerly" anticipating the beginning of 2026.
Sources from Page Six revealed that in 2026, Angelina Jolie will split her time between New York, where she has a fashion collective and the Atelier Jolie boutique, and Europe, where the actress has "more privacy." It is also claimed that Jolie will spend time in Cambodia, which is considered her second home, as she is a citizen there.
Why Does Angelina Jolie Want to Leave Los Angeles?
According to media reports citing insiders, the American star wants to leave Los Angeles to "start fresh."
"She can't distance herself enough from the dramatic events... the only way to rest is to leave," noted actor and producer Jay Benjamin.
The "dramatic events" he referred to began for Angelina Jolie during her divorce proceedings with Brad Pitt, with whom they were able to reach a final agreement only in December 2024. This occurred eight years after filing for divorce.
The estate where Jolie lived was purchased so that their children "could be closer to their father." However, the actress previously admitted that as soon as they turn 18, she will be able to leave it.
