The 52-year-old native of Poltava has made a successful investment in real estate in the capital of Ukraine.
Andriy Danilko, better known by his stage name Verka Serduchka, has been hiding his real estate in Kyiv for years. And not just a couple of apartments, but a whole empire in the center!
It has just come to light that he has four apartments in one building on Khreshchatyk. Two of them are neighboring, you could say, through the wall. The sizes are impressive: from modest 67 to spacious 96 square meters. In 2024, he purchased a spacious apartment on Volodymyrska Street. A total of 237 square meters. And as the cherry on top, Danilko also owns a huge non-residential space on Redutna Street. Almost 417 square meters.
The total value of this real estate arsenal is several million dollars. But who will inherit all this? Danilko has not started a family and is unlikely to leave behind any descendants.
As reported by "Ukrainian News", this year the artist got involved in a language scandal. On June 14, activists appealed to the Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language Taras Kremin regarding the concert of Verka Serduchka & Band, which took place in Kyiv on June 13. On June 16, the police held the director of the establishment in Kyiv region, where Verka Serduchka (Andriy Danilko) performed his hits in Russian, administratively liable.
On June 27, the then Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language Taras Kremin stated that artist Andriy Danilko had not violated the legislation.
According to Danilko, Verka Serduchka is an art character through which he tells about himself. While Serduchka is characterized as "cheerful, self-confident, joking on stage, not afraid to speak her mind", Andriy Danilko is "quiet, modest, reserved, does not like large crowds."
