A Russian woman was accused of desecrating a state symbol in Turkey due to having a passport in her mouth.
A Russian traveler put her passport in her mouth at a Turkish airport and was unable to pass customs because of this.
It is known that 35-year-old Ksenia from Murmansk was preparing to go through passport control at the border, holding bags, packages, and a suitcase. On her way to the inspection queue, the passenger dropped a shirt on the floor. She instinctively held the passport, which was in her hand, between her lips and picked up the fallen item.
It was precisely because of this that the woman was denied inspection. Airport staff reviewed footage from surveillance cameras and accused the tourist of desecrating a state symbol. However, they did not specify which country's passport Ksenia had held between her lips. No information is available about the further fate of the Russian woman.
