A resident of Australia lost 28 kilograms in a year thanks to a special diet.
A resident of Australia named Mel lost excess weight thanks to a diet developed by the Australian government’s Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO). She shared this with the British publication The Sun.
According to Mel, she started gaining extra kilograms due to unhealthy snacking and frequent food delivery. The woman decided to lose weight after seeing an unflattering photo of herself. She stated that in the picture, she looked too fat, old, and unhappy.
Mel began her journey with a diet based on consuming low glycemic index foods and high-protein content. Gradually, she started exercising regularly. As a result, she managed to lose 28 kilograms in a year.
In the mornings, Mel eats oatmeal or pancakes with honey or peanut butter. For lunch, she prepares salads, and in the evening, she has vegetables and meat. As the woman admits, the program helped her understand that food is not the enemy. Even now, she allows herself to get takeout, but she does it rarely.
The woman mentioned that the diet not only helped her lose weight but also improved her health. She started sleeping better, her skin condition improved, and the knee pain that often troubled her in the past has disappeared.
