Зоопарк приглашает на летние экскурсии с гидом

This summer, visitors to Riga Zoo will not only be able to see its inhabitants but also learn many interesting details about their lives during special guided tours. Guests will be told why giraffes have such long necks, how capybaras spend their time, what tigers do during their downtime, and which animals are particularly loved by the public.

The tour format allows visitors to discover the zoo from a new perspective. During the walk, participants will be able to observe the animals, ask the guide questions, and hear fascinating stories that usually remain behind the scenes of a regular visit.

Guides will introduce guests to the habits, behavioral traits, and personalities of the zoo's inhabitants. Visitors will also learn how some animals become true favorites of the public and what makes them popular.

Each tour is different from the previous one. The routes are formed based on what is happening in the zoo at that moment. Recently born cubs, new residents, or animals whose lives are particularly interesting at a certain time of year may be the focus. This way, even regular visitors can discover something new each time.

Open tours take place on Saturdays and Sundays at 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM. All tours are conducted in Latvian.

The participation fee is 5 euros in addition to the zoo entrance ticket price. Tickets can be purchased in advance at: www.rigazoo.lv/atvertas-ekskursijas

These tours are intended for anyone who would like to get to know the zoo accompanied by an experienced guide but does not have their own organized group. Individual visitors, families, couples, or groups of friends can join.

Riga Zoo emphasizes that behind each enclosure lies its own story, and the tours help to see familiar exhibits in a new light and better understand the amazing world of animals.
