The final performances of "Cirks savā vaļā" by the Riga Circus School will take place on June 5, 6, and 7 at the Riga Circus arena, LETA reported.

About 50 young circus artists and their teachers will participate in the performance, directed by Inga Ungure. The work of set designer Pamela Butane will fill the circus arena with trees and moss, transforming it into a forest.

The performance "Cirks savā vaļā" begins when the students of the circus school and their teachers decide to go to a creative camp in nature, and the forest turns into a training ground for the circus. Aerial acrobats spin atop the trees, test their balance on branches, and also balance on their hands on stumps and rocks.

The Riga Circus School was founded in 2017. Currently, about 130 children and teenagers aged 5 to 18 train there.

The Riga Circus School is attended not only by children and teenagers but also by adults, who study various circus disciplines under the guidance of professional instructors. These include ground and aerial acrobatics, juggling, balancing, as well as performing arts - dance and acting. Once a year, at the end of the academic season, the students of the Riga Circus School prepare a performance together with their teachers and perform in front of a wider audience.
