A journalist from Brazil, I. Costa, reported that she discovered a malignant tumor in her breast thanks to her cat, Terra reports.
According to the woman, her pet usually lay on her chest in the evenings. One day, the cat pressed on the right side, and Costa felt pain.
Placing her hand on her breast, she felt a lump and became alarmed. This happened on a Sunday, and by Tuesday, the woman consulted a mammologist.
Doctors diagnosed stage three breast cancer. The patient was prescribed several months of chemotherapy. She is now preparing for the next stage of treatment.
