If the beds are additionally warmed with film at the end of March or early April, and then early varieties are used, the first root vegetables will appear in about three to four weeks.

Lovage, fennel, sorrel, and various types of onions begin to actively sprout as early as April, so it is important to check their condition after winter in advance. Some varieties of parsley that were sown last autumn can also produce early shoots.
