The weather has become extremely unpredictable: yesterday there was frost, and tomorrow a thaw is expected. So what weather is considered the most harmful to health?
It is impossible to determine a single 'harmful' weather condition, says therapist Irina VASILEVICH. In her opinion, if weather changes occur gradually, the body adapts to them without significant problems. However, sharp fluctuations in temperature can cause stress even in completely healthy individuals.
There are ways to mitigate the negative effects of such changes. For example, during a sudden drop in temperature, it is recommended to increase vitamin C intake and consume more calorie-dense foods. In the case of a sudden thaw, it is beneficial to drink caffeinated beverages and herbal teas. In damp weather, people with joint diseases are advised to use warming ointments and natural wool wraps. During magnetic storms, relaxing procedures such as a warm bath are helpful. However, it is essential to consult a doctor.
