The law will affect the most popular pistol.
California is introducing new restrictions on firearms. First and foremost, the law will affect the most popular pistol in the U.S. — the Glock: its sale will be banned in the state. Lawmakers explain this by stating that a special switch can be installed on the weapon, converting it to fully automatic firing mode, RTVI US reports. The trade of firearms will also be prohibited online — not only complete weapons but even individual parts for them. Additionally, stricter rules for storing firearms will come into effect on July 1.
