How to Make Tomatoes Sweeter: A Simple Growing Recipe

Baking soda is a universal product that should be in every home.

Baking soda is used in cooking, for cleaning the house, and also in the garden, but not everyone knows about it.

A fertilizer based on this substance helps make tomatoes sweeter.

For this, gardeners spray the tomatoes with a 0.5% solution of baking soda.

Additionally, by mixing 100 grams of soda with one liter of water, one can normalize the acidity of the soil.

It is also worth noting that baking soda is used to combat powdery mildew. For this, a solution needs to be made.

In one liter of water, dissolve 1 tablespoon of soda, 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil, and 1 cup of liquid soap. After that, you can spray the foliage.

Another significant advantage of baking soda in the garden is that it helps fight some pests, such as caterpillars on cabbage. For this, the soda should be mixed with flour in a 1 to 1 ratio and sprinkled on the soil.
