Why cabbage heads may not form properly?

Sharing the experience of agronomist and gardener Alexander KHOROBROVTS.

- There is no definitive answer to this question. Usually, cabbage heads do not form for many early varieties if they are sown for seedlings after March 10.

However, if early cabbage is delayed in forming a head, it is not a major problem. It is much worse if late varieties do not manage to set heads.

As a rule, seedlings of late varieties of cabbage are ready for planting in the open ground 35-40 days after sowing, and this period increases to 45-50 days when transplanting.
