Ice
Burned your tongue? First of all, hurry to the refrigerator. Take an ice cube and put it in your mouth or bite into a cold ice cream to get rid of the burning sensation. The cold will help heal the damaged tissues and reduce swelling.
Cold Water
Like ice, cold water will be a real salvation for the irritated mucosa: it promotes saliva production, which will soothe the affected areas and prevent harmful bacteria from entering.
