Laziness: Myth or Reality?

I noticed that I have been getting tired faster at work and find it hard to start tasks... Is it just laziness or something more serious?

According to Dahl's explanatory dictionary, laziness is defined as “the unwillingness to work, aversion to work,” however, in psychology, this concept is not considered a feeling or a character trait.

Psychologist Marina PAVLYUCHENKO explains: “Laziness as such does not exist — there is fatigue or a state of apathy, as well as aggression, which can manifest as a reluctance to do anything.”

The concept of “laziness” complicates the understanding of one’s own emotions and monitoring of physical condition. Perhaps you are just tired and do not allow yourself to rest? In that case, laziness may be a natural desire of the body to recover. Or, perhaps, work has ceased to interest you?”
