For a pleasant cleaning experience, choose natural products instead of chemical ones!
Bananas
The inside of a banana peel serves as an excellent polish. The composition, consisting of polysaccharides and proteins, forms a unique "gel" on its surface, which is why it is so easy to slip on a banana peel. Knowing this, Americans used banana peels to launch ships during World War II!
In household chores, this feature can be applied to "polish" the leaves of houseplants. The peel not only removes dust but also moisturizes the leaves, giving them a shine. Try using this original natural remedy on the large, tough leaves of yucca or orchids.
Grapefruits
This citrus fruit is rich in acids that can tackle even stubborn stains. As mentioned, cut the grapefruit in half, sprinkle the flesh with sugar, and scrub the sink or bathtub. Then rinse the natural cleaner with water. The fresh, natural scent will be a pleasant addition to the cleaning process.
Walnuts
Peeled young nuts are an excellent polishing agent. Nut oil gives natural wood furniture a magnificent shine. To do this, grind the nuts in a blender and rub the resulting mass onto the wood, paying special attention to chips and other defects, and then polish with a soft natural cloth.
Potato Peels
Potato peels can effectively remove rust from old silverware. This is a natural alternative to the harsh chemicals found in many cleaning products. Grind the peels in a blender along with baking soda, rub the mixture onto the utensils, and let it sit for a few hours. Then rinse under running water and dry thoroughly.
Limes
To disinfect and clean the microwave, cut the lime into slices without peeling the zest. Place it in a bowl and cover it with water mixed with a small amount of vinegar. Put the bowl in the microwave and heat on medium power for 3-5 minutes. Remove the dish from the microwave.
lemons
Lemon juice can effectively dissolve grease, giving shine to the bathtub and sink. For this, prepare a paste of baking soda and lemon juice for cleaning surfaces.
Lemon juice can also be used to eliminate unpleasant odors in the refrigerator. Squeeze the juice from the citrus and soak a couple of cotton pads in it. Place them in a stack or a small glass, cover with the remaining juice, and put it in the refrigerator. This method works great if there are cut onions, garlic, cabbage, or salads with these vegetables in the fridge.
Onions
To get rid of grease and dirt in the oven, slightly heat it and rub it with onion juice. To do this, cut the onion in half (without cutting off the root part so that the onion doesn't fall apart) and pierce one half with a knife with a long blade or a special meat fork — this way, you won't burn your hand and can treat the entire oven. Onions contain enzymes that interact with oxygen and form an acid that helps dissolve grease and dirt.
Cucumbers
To prevent the bathroom mirror from fogging up during a shower, wipe it with cucumber juice before bathing.
