How often should you water cacti depending on the season?
“In the summer, cacti should be watered weekly; in autumn, the frequency should be reduced to once every 1–1.5 weeks, in winter it is sufficient to water once every 2–3 weeks, and in spring – once every 10 days,” recommends florist and decorator Yulia KHUDAYBERDIEVA.
– Water cacti with room temperature settled water. In spring, autumn, and winter, do this in the morning; in summer – in the evening.
There are two methods suitable for watering cacti: top watering (water is carefully poured into the pot without getting on the plant) and bottom watering – water is poured into the saucer, where the pot is left for 20-30 minutes, and then placed on a dry stand.
