Nutrition has a significant impact on the condition of the skin, hair, and overall health of the body. Therefore, it is worth incorporating healthy habits into your life that contribute to improved well-being, reports RBC-Ukraine.

A nutritionist highlighted useful habits to follow:

* eat only when physiologically hungry

* slowly enjoy each bite of food

* time spent eating should be gadget-free — this is time for yourself

* stop eating when you feel almost full

* complex carbohydrates are our best friends

* it is important to accept yourself in different states, as food is not a solution to all problems.

A Healthy Eating Plate

It is essential to remember that everyone's eating schedule is individual, but it is important not to skip breakfast and to try not to have dinner less than 3 hours before sleep. It is recommended to have 1-2 healthy snacks before and after lunch. Do not rush, as meals should take at least 20-30 minutes, and snacks should take at least 10 minutes.

Drink clean water, guided by your thirst. It is better to avoid coffee and tea during meals.

Instead of lard or butter, choose healthy vegetable oils: sunflower, corn, flaxseed, and olive oil.

Prefer whole grain bread and crispbreads, pasta made from durum wheat, and unpolished rice.

Be sure to include fruits and berries in your diet, 30 g for 2 servings a day.

In older adults, immunity can be strengthened by adding micronutrient and vitamin supplements to their diet.
