Let's prepare dinner in pots from available ingredients, without requiring expensive products.
Dinner in pots can be prepared from the ingredients you have in your refrigerator. You can use several small pots or one large one. It’s quick, simple, and economical!
Ingredients:
meat (pork) - 400 g
potatoes - 2 pcs. (240 g)
zucchini - 1 pc. (200 g)
onion - 1 pc.
carrot - 1 pc. (70 g)
bell pepper - 1 pc.
mushrooms (champignons) - 4 pcs.
green peas - 80 g
fresh garlic - 4 cloves
salt - to taste
black ground pepper - to taste
ground paprika - 2 tsp.
Italian herbs - 1 tsp.
vegetable oil
cheese - 70 g
Cooking Method:
1. Cut the meat into small pieces. I used 400 g of pork. Transfer to a bowl, add salt and black ground pepper to taste, and mix well.
2. If you decide to use chicken, it can be added at the same time as the vegetables, while pork should be given some time to cook. Pour a little vegetable oil into each pot, place the pieces of meat, and cover with lids.
3. Place the pots in the oven. Do not preheat the oven, but heat it together with the pots to avoid a sudden temperature drop. Set the temperature to 180 degrees and simmer the meat for 15-20 minutes while you chop the vegetables.
4. Any vegetables you have on hand will work for this dish. Cut the onion into cubes, without chopping too finely. Cut off the ends of the zucchini and chop into small pieces. Place all the chopped vegetables in a bowl.
5. Next, cut the bell pepper into cubes. Then take the potatoes and carrots. Also chop the champignons into cubes and add them to the other vegetables. Add frozen green peas and spices.
6. Add salt and black ground pepper to taste, as well as 2 tsp. of ground paprika and 1 tsp. of Italian herbs. Any spices can be used. Pour in a little vegetable oil and mix well.
7. Meanwhile, 20 minutes have passed, take the pots out of the oven. Distribute the vegetables over the meat, and place thinly sliced garlic on top. Add one clove of garlic to each pot.
8. Cover with lids and return to the oven, keeping the temperature at 180 degrees, and bake the vegetables with the meat for 30-40 minutes.
9. If there are leftover vegetables, they can be baked in ceramic dishes. Grease them with vegetable oil, arrange the vegetables, and cover with foil. This option will be meatless but with cheese.
10. After 40 minutes, take the pots out, and place the dishes with vegetables in the oven for 20 minutes. Then remove the foil, sprinkle with grated cheese, and return the vegetables to the oven for another 10 minutes. The vegetables under the cheese turn out to be just as delicious, with a delicate creamy taste.
This dinner or lunch is very convenient to prepare, and you can experiment with the set of ingredients. It turns out very tasty and filling, without needing to stand at the stove for long. Additionally, you can prepare incredibly delicious buckwheat with meat and onions in pots.
