Chicken Drumsticks Marinated in Kefir: Easy Recipe

The use of fermented dairy product makes the meat incredibly juicy and tender.

 

Kefir serves as the main ingredient for marinating chicken drumsticks. Thanks to this fermented dairy product, the meat becomes especially juicy and tender. Marinate the drumsticks in kefir with the addition of spices, garlic, and mustard, and then bake in the oven until a delicious golden crust forms.

Ingredients:

chicken drumsticks 6 pcs
kefir 600 ml
garlic 6 cloves
sweet paprika 1 tbsp
mustard 1 tsp
black ground pepper
salt
vegetable oil

Preparation:

1. Rinse the chicken drumsticks and dry them with a paper towel.

2. Peel the garlic and finely chop it.

3. In a bowl, mix the kefir, garlic, paprika, mustard, pepper, and salt. Mix well.

4. Pour the resulting kefir marinade over the meat. Cover and place in the refrigerator for five hours.

5. After that, take the meat out, remove the excess marinade. Place the drumsticks on a baking sheet previously greased with vegetable oil.

6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 50-60 minutes until a golden crust forms.

Tip: Use kefir of any fat content or replace it with natural yogurt.
