Nutritionist Ekaterina Stasyuk emphasized that improperly cooked meat, fish, and poultry not only lose their beneficial qualities but can also pose a health risk.
“Overcooked meat and fish can negatively affect health. They can provoke the development of various diseases, including cancer,” noted the expert.
The specialist recommends boiling or steaming tender fish varieties with the addition of herbs. Denser types of fish and meat are better baked in the oven at a temperature of 120 degrees or grilled without oil. To maximize the preservation of nutrients, the nutritionist advises using a special baking sleeve.
Moreover, during the baking process, meat releases juice that contains a large amount of nutrients. This juice can be used to prepare sauce, making it more beneficial.
