The World Population Review portal has published an updated ranking of countries based on the quality of their national cuisine.
The ranking was based on the average scores of dishes presented in international gastronomic databases.
Greece once again topped the list. As in the previous year, its cuisine received the highest ratings.
Following in the top ten are Italy, Mexico, Turkey, Spain, Portugal, Indonesia, France, Japan, and China. These countries achieved the best results based on overall reviews and scores.
A total of 99 countries are represented in the ranking. At the bottom of the list are Nicaragua, Laos, and Bolivia — their national cuisines received some of the lowest average ratings among participants.
