The Latvian airline airBaltic has published information about the food and drinks that passengers most often chose during flights in 2025. airBaltic customers purchased more than 1.6 million products during flights last year.

So, what did passengers prefer most often?

Croissant, bacon omelet, salmon wrap, salmon in teriyaki sauce, cheese pancakes, wrap burger, pancakes, chicken nuggets, sour cream and onion potato chips, orange juice.

Local products remain an important part of airBaltic's offering. Last year, about 32% of the products available during the flight and 9% of SkyShop products, including snacks, drinks, and other goods, were produced in Latvia.

In 2025, the sales volume of products ordered before the flight increased by 27% compared to the previous year, indicating a growing trend of passengers planning their meals before departure. Before the flight, passengers most often ordered bacon omelet, salmon in teriyaki sauce, cheese pancakes, orange juice, and chicken nuggets. Passengers with individual dietary habits can choose dishes such as a poke bowl with tiger shrimp and avocado, mushroom ravioli, wok with tiger shrimp, or bulgur salad. If a celebration is planned during the flight, passengers can order strawberries with chocolate.
