A Japanese scientist claims that ice cream increases reaction speed and reduces irritability.
As part of the experiment, participants were asked to consume ice cream in the mornings, after which they had to complete a series of tasks on a computer. A control group was also formed, which had traditional breakfast dishes.
The results showed that those who started their morning with ice cream performed better in processing new information and reacted faster to tasks.
Brain scans of the group consuming ice cream revealed high-frequency alpha waves, which are typically associated with reduced mental irritability and increased readiness for action.
