According to common recommendations, frozen berries can be stored in the freezer for up to 12 months, provided that the temperature does not exceed minus 18 degrees, says nutritionist Daria PUSHKAREVA.
The expert notes that when the freezer door is opened, the temperature near the door temporarily changes, which can shorten the storage life of products located nearby.
Therefore, it is recommended to place berries further away from the door.
With proper deep freezing and adherence to all storage rules, berries can be consumed even after 18 months; however, over time they lose their nutritional qualities, so it is better to consume them within the recommended period.
