“Pomegranate seeds are beneficial for the intestines due to the acid they contain. Bacteria convert it into urolithin, which has anti-inflammatory properties. Pomegranate can protect against fungal and bacterial infections,” notes the dietitian.

The doctor emphasizes that studies have shown a positive effect of pomegranate seeds on muscle strength. Therefore, this product is often included in the diet of those who aim to increase muscle mass.
