People predisposed to thrombosis are advised to avoid foods high in vitamin K. This was reported by immunologist Andrey Prodeus.
“Three products are parsley, spinach, and basil,” noted the specialist, adding that the highest amount of vitamin K is found in parsley: 100 grams contain 20 daily norms.
Doctor Elena Malysheva supported her colleague's opinion. She explained that exceeding the daily norm of vitamin K can pose health risks.
“The risk of thrombosis increases 20 times compared to normal conditions,” she emphasized.
It is also noted that the at-risk group includes elderly people, those with a sedentary lifestyle, as well as those suffering from varicose veins or cardiovascular diseases.
