The nutritionist explained how much persimmon can be consumed daily

Persimmon is an autumn delicacy that many adore. It is rich in beneficial vitamins and substances, helps prevent the appearance of early wrinkles, and reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases. However, excessive enthusiasm for this product can lead to serious health problems.

 

Nutritionist Lydia Kvashnina shared recommendations regarding the safe amount of persimmon that can be eaten in a day.

According to her, this fruit has a characteristic astringent ability. Although this does not stop its fans, it is important to know the limit.

“For healthy adults, including pregnant women, the optimal daily norm of persimmon is no more than one fruit per day (150-200 g),” explains the nutritionist.

Additionally, the specialist emphasizes that persimmon is contraindicated for children under three years old. The fruit can only be consumed after reaching this age, but not more than one teaspoon per day.
