According to experts, scammers have started using siren sounds in phone calls to psychologically influence victims and compel them to act according to instructions.
Fraudsters call the victim and engage them in conversation under various pretexts. Suddenly, during the conversation, a siren sound is activated, and a voice announces the presence of scammers, urging the victim to urgently call back the 'bank's technical support' number that is sent via message.
Next, a supposed bank representative contacts the victim, attempting to obtain personal data and information about bank accounts, after which they convince the victim that part of their funds has allegedly already been transferred to third parties.
Then another 'specialist' joins the call, offering to transfer all savings to a 'secure special account' using a fake QR code.
In principle, there is nothing new apart from the sound of the siren, but it is this frightening moment that causes potential victims to forget about security measures.
Don't fall for this trick!
