On Monday morning, a trolleybus crashed into a pole on Prusu Street in Riga, reports the LETA agency.
The State Police informed the LETA agency that on Monday at 6:20 AM, a traffic accident involving a trolleybus occurred on Prusu Street in Riga.
According to the information available to the police, no one was injured as a result of the accident.
Traffic has already been restored, and law enforcement agencies are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
The head of the public relations department of the municipal enterprise "Rīgas satiksme," Baiba Bartashevicha-Feldmane, stated that the causes of the accident and the technical condition of the trolleybus will be established. Preliminary data suggests that the driver's health may have suddenly deteriorated. An emergency medical service (NMPD) was called for the woman.
