In Montreal, an armed man opened fire in a Jewish neighborhood, killing two people, including a police officer. The incident occurred outside the Aylo company office (owner of PornHub), reports the New York Post.
The attacker was 25-year-old Seth Hatfield. He was found to have a 104-page manifesto criticizing Zionism, capitalism, the police, feminism, and the pornography industry.
The shooting occurred in the Côte-des-Neiges area. In the shootout, 34-year-old constable Mohamed Lamine Benredouane was killed, and another police officer was injured. The second victim was 68-year-old Michael Moshe Mizrahi from the Jewish community.
The Aylo office reported damage to windows. The company stated that they are aware of reports linking the attack to Pornhub but declined to comment on the motives until the investigation is completed.
