As a result of the bus accident involving the public transport company "Rīgas satiksme" in front of the Cabinet of Ministers building in Riga this morning, the driver was injured, the State Police reported to the LETA agency.
The accident occurred around 10:30 when a route 6 bus veered off the roadway and crashed into the median on Brivibas Boulevard.
According to preliminary information, the accident happened due to the driver's deteriorating health condition.
Passengers were not injured as a result of the accident.
