Singer Linda, whose real name is Svetlana Geiman, was detained after searches in the office of the liquidated publishing house "Djem."

It is specified that Linda's detention occurred along with searches in the offices of "Profit" and "Company Ton 7." Both firms belong to businessman Andrei Cherkasov, and the office of "Profit" is located where the music publishing house "Djem" used to be.

According to a source from the publication, the searches are directly related to documents through which the company "Profit" and Linda allegedly appropriated the rights to Linda's songs authored by Maxim Fadeev.

Recall that on November 29, it became known that Andrei Cherkasov, the CEO of "Djem," was arrested on charges of large-scale fraud. Sergey Zhukov, the lead singer of the group "Ruki Vverh," and composer Maxim Fadeev have expressed their claims against Cherkasov personally and against "Djem" as a whole. In July 2025, the Arbitration Court of Moscow declared the publishing house "Djem" bankrupt.

Fadeev stated that thirty years ago he was fraudulently deprived of the rights to the music he wrote for Linda.

"I still don’t know who has been receiving my royalties for the past 30 years. I demand justice and a complete handwriting examination, which has not yet been conducted," Fadeev stated.

According to the producer, the documents for the transfer of rights to the songs were signed not by him, but by Mikhail Kuvshinov, who is now Linda's concert director. In the late 1990s, he was the director of "Crystal Music." This label, as Linda clarified in an interview with Ksenia Sobchak, was created by her father, Lev Geiman, specifically for her.

In Fadeev's opinion, Lev Geiman was also involved in the "fraudulent" scheme, and his list included Kuvshinov's mother (who handled the company's accounting) and Andrei Cherkasov, who allegedly "covered it all up and sold it," Russian media report.
