About 2.5 tons of fuel were stolen from several vehicles in Augšligatne, in the Ligatne municipality of Cēsis County, the State Police informed the LETA agency.
Between 11:00 PM on December 20 and 3:00 AM on December 21, several unidentified individuals entered a private property and stole approximately 2.5 tons of fuel from various vehicles, as well as damaged the fuel tanks.
The police estimate the material damage at around 3,500 euros.
A criminal process has been initiated regarding the incident, and the circumstances of what happened are being investigated.
