The manager of Disney's private island Castaway Cay in the Bahamas harassed a young American woman while swimming on the beach. This was reported by the Daily Mail.
The incident occurred at the end of September, but the accused recently appeared in court. 65-year-old British resident Gursel Sahibas went swimming with a 29-year-old woman and assaulted her in the water. The victim stated that she repeatedly asked the married man to stop, but he continued to touch her in intimate areas.
After returning home to the United States, the traveler reported the incident to the authorities in the Bahamas, and Sahibas was arrested. "He no longer works for Disney Cruise Line due to the allegations," the man's lawyer stated in court.
Currently, the case has been postponed until January 21, 2026. The former director was released on bail of $15,000.
