The 28-year-old student stabbed two teenagers with a fork during a flight from the USA to Germany.

An American student from India flying to Europe attempted to stab two underage fellow passengers with a fork. This was reported by The New York Post (NYP).

The incident occurred on October 25 during a Lufthansa flight from Chicago, USA, to Frankfurt, Germany. The 28-year-old student from an American university, Pranit Kumar Usiripalli, rose above a sleeping 17-year-old teenager after lunch and attacked him with a fork in hand. The man struck the victim in the collarbone and then injured another 17-year-old passenger in the back of the head.

During the flight, the crew attempted to restrain the troublemaker, but he behaved inappropriately. "He formed his fingers into the shape of a gun, put them in his mouth, and pulled the 'trigger'," the U.S. Attorney's Office in Massachusetts reported.

After that, the man punched a female passenger in the face and lunged at airline staff with his fists. The flight was urgently diverted to Logan International Airport in Boston. Usiripalli was subdued and taken to the police station.

It is clarified that the Indian was in the United States on a student visa and had recently been enrolled in a master's program. He is currently facing charges of assault, with a possible penalty of up to 10 years in prison.
