In Thailand, a naked burglar was arrested after breaking into several houses in Nakhon Ratchasima province. This was reported by the Bangkok Post.

51-year-old Chaliao Khamkrathok was detained on Tuesday, October 7, in Chokchai district. The man was riding a motorcycle when he was stopped and arrested by the police. Khamkrathok had been wanted since March for a series of thefts in Chokchai and neighboring districts.

He stood out to law enforcement for breaking into homes and committing thefts while completely naked, and he was captured on surveillance cameras several times. The burglar had a home in Chokchai, but during the series of break-ins, he was hiding in rice fields. It took the police more than six months to catch the unusual criminal.

During interrogation, Khamkrathok explained that he often stripped down to avoid being identified by his clothing. In other cases, he removed all his clothes because they got wet in the rain.
