Gasoline and diesel prices are rising again, and the difference between the capitals remains noticeable.
Last week, fuel prices increased in Riga, Vilnius, and Tallinn, according to LETA data. The highest prices are in Vilnius, while the lowest are in Tallinn.
In Riga, the price of 95-octane gasoline rose by 0.6% to €1.814 per liter, while diesel increased by 1% to €1.954.
In Vilnius, the increase was more noticeable: gasoline went up by 4.9% and costs €1.834 per liter, while diesel rose by 2.5% to €2.029.
In Tallinn, gasoline became 2.1% more expensive, reaching €1.689 per liter, and diesel increased by 3.7% to €1.809.
At the same time, autogas prices slightly decreased in Riga and Tallinn, while remaining unchanged in Vilnius.
This price difference between the capitals has persisted for several weeks and largely depends on tax policies and competition in the fuel market.
