During the past work week, fuel prices continued to rise in Riga and Tallinn, while they decreased in Vilnius, according to aggregated data from the LETA agency, writes LETA.
In addition, diesel fuel prices in the capitals of the Baltic states have exceeded the levels observed after Russia's invasion of Ukraine in the first half of 2022.
By the end of the work week, the highest price for gasoline was in Tallinn, followed by Riga and Vilnius. Meanwhile, diesel fuel was most expensive in Riga, then in Tallinn, and cheapest in Vilnius.
In Riga, at the 'Circle K' gas station on Krasta Street, the price of 95 octane gasoline increased by 1.1% over the week to €1.814 per liter, while the price of diesel fuel rose by 6% and reached €2.134 per liter on Friday.
In Vilnius, at the 'Circle K' gas station on Savanorių Avenue, the price of 95 octane gasoline decreased by 1.9% over the week to €1.719 per liter, while the price of diesel fuel fell by 0.2% to €2.114 per liter.
In Tallinn, at 'Circle K' gas stations, 95 octane gasoline cost €1.829 per liter, which is 2.5% more than the week before, while the price of diesel fuel increased by 10.4% and reached €2.119 per liter on Friday.
The price of autogas in Riga remained unchanged compared to the situation a week earlier, standing at €1.055 per liter on Friday. In Vilnius, the price of autogas increased by 9.4% to €0.979, while in Tallinn it decreased by 0.3% to €0.907 per liter.
