The video address to the President of the Russian Federation, recorded by a former soldier from the Voronezh region, has garnered millions of views. The man claims he wants to tell Putin the "truth" and demands a meeting.

Alexander Lunin (Pustovalov), a former commander of a reconnaissance platoon in the volunteer battalion named after Sudoplatov, recorded an address to Russian President Vladimir Putin, in which he complained about torture in the army and stated that if he is not given the opportunity to communicate with the head of state live, a military mutiny may occur. This video, as reported by the online publication "Agency. News" and the TV channel "Dozhd" on Thursday, June 25, has garnered several million views.

According to Lunin, Russian soldiers are subjected to torture and violence by commanders for refusing to carry out "stupid suicidal orders" and "hand over their financial resources." "If I do not arrive at the Kremlin soon and speak live next to you, the army will turn its weapons against the Kremlin," he states, addressing Putin.

In another video, the soldier says he wants to meet with Putin in the Kremlin to tell him "the real truth that no official will tell him," namely: "about the lawlessness that local warlords and local officials are committing against both veterans of the SVO (the war of Russia against Ukraine - Ed.) and ordinary citizens."

Reports on the Situation of Soldiers

"Agency" writes that its staff managed to reach Lunin by phone. In a conversation with journalists, he said that he runs his own channel (on various platforms) and receives messages and videos from acquaintances at the front about the situation of the soldiers. "I receive a lot of messages, video messages. I am even afraid to post them because there are horrifying images," the online publication quotes him. According to Lunin, he decided to address Putin "to show him personally, to talk to him personally."

The man recounts that on June 24, in the village of Lizinovka in the Voronezh region, he met with three men: "One was from the Ministry of Defense, the second was from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. And the third was also from some service, but it relates to the Ministry of Defense." Lunin claims that they demanded he record a video to convey to the president, "that there will be complete chaos for us if this continues..." reports "Deutsche Welle."
