Against the backdrop of ongoing Ukrainian drone strikes, mass power outages, a lack of fuel in Crimea, and restrictions on railway communication with Russia, a queue of nearly 2,000 vehicles has formed at the approach to the Kerch Bridge from the peninsula.

This is reported by the Telegram channel "Crimean Bridge: Operational Information." According to its data, by 10:00 on Friday, 1,780 cars were waiting for inspection to leave Crimea, and the waiting time in the queue exceeded four hours (after an hour, their number decreased to 1,750). There were about 1,000 cars in the traffic jam entering the peninsula.

At 23:50 on Thursday, traffic on the bridge was closed for six hours, likely due to the threat of drones, which struck several targets in Kerch overnight. As of the evening of June 25, the queue to leave the peninsula stretched for almost 15 kilometers. This is reported by "Crimean Wind," which published a video of the "car column" from an eyewitness. "I think this is an absolute record. There has never been such a queue before the bridge," says the author of the video. On June 22, after the ban on the free sale of fuel at gas stations in Crimea, about 700 vehicles were stuck in the traffic jam leaving Crimea.

The day before, after a series of drone strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on power plants, the authorities appointed by Russia in Crimea and Sevastopol announced rolling blackouts. Local residents report a lack of electricity for several days; also, in some cities of the peninsula, there have been interruptions in water supply and public transport operations. In addition, the occupying authorities announced a reduction in railway communication with Russia. For example, the number of "Tavria" trains was reduced from 14 to 7 per day.

Prior to this, Ukrainian authorities announced the "isolation" of Crimea from Russia and its transformation into an "island," while Ukrainian troops significantly increased the number of strikes on the military and energy infrastructure of the peninsula, as well as on strategic bridges.

On Thursday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the SBU "received materials indicating the actual daily deepening of the crisis with fuel, military logistics, and governance in Crimea." According to him, the occupying authorities of the region "quite clearly and unequivocally" state the impossibility of resolving the situation caused by the strikes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The president also approved a 40-day operation for the SBU to influence Russia, aimed at forcing Moscow to end the war, reports The Moscow Times.
